This Christmas Eve was different than ever before because my sister wasn't there. She and her fiance decided to come down on Christmas day instead, so we went to visit my grandparents and cousins without her.

First time EVER without Kimberly in the shot :(

My first camera I ever owned I recieved for Christmas 3 years ago. I got a MUCH better one a year later, and this year I have my most badass camera yet. Though it is technically a Birthday/Christmas present that I've had since the end of October.

CUTE GNOME.

On Christmas day, Kimberly&Caleb, and my aunt Nancy and her family came over. Mom made amazing chili for everyone.
This is me, LILYTHEMOP, and Caleb.

Dad and me. My aunt thinks it's funny when I take picture of myself. And even funnier when I take pictures of dad and myself apparently.

I made out pretty well this year. I recieved:
.a Pressed Fairy Calendar (from my mom)
.a green shirt and sweater (from my mom)
.Desperate Housewives season 2 (from my mom)
.a cute gnome (from my mom)
.A Breath of Snow and Ashes by Diana Galbaldon (from my mom and dad)
.slipper socks and High Society (from my mom and dad)
.a poppy photo album (from Sara)
.a Gnome Gnovelty Kit (from Sara)
.a Zune (Microsoft's answer to the Ipod) (from my brother)
.A Series of Unfortunate Events DVD (from my uncle Gary)
.four gnomes w/mushroom statues (from my sister and Caleb)
.$20 (from my uncle Dow)
.$30 (from my grandparents)
.a duck photo album (from my cousins in Florida)
.a vintage box and bracelet (from my aunt Nancy and her family)
.a cookie cookbook (from my aunt Nancy, so I can bake cookies for John :p)
.a green scarf (from my aunt Sue)
AND IN MY STOCKING
.Romeo and Juliet DVD from th 1960s
.The Lorretta Young Show DVD
.a toothbrush
.a Christmas tree ornament
.a butterfly suncatcher
.a cat magnet
.chocolate

And I think that's it.

You made out like a bandit! Such wonderful Christmas loot. I'm glad you were on the nice list this year, lol. I love the shots of you and your da, personally. I wish my dad would cooperate for pictures! Happy New Years!

My dad is a blogger also, so it's pretty easy to get him to pose! I wish my mom would let me take pictures of her, because we really don't have enough of them.

Sounds like you got some cool presents. :)

Also, your camera is beautiful. I'm saving up to buy myself a new one hopefully soon. :p

The problem with cameras is that you can never stop buying for them! Haha, like there are so many accessories you can get, or you can upgrade to something better. I need to get a job soon so I can buy some fun stuff (new lenses). :)

so, i figured it out. if i work 5 days a week, 11 hours a day, as a life guard at six flags making 10 dollars an hour, i can buy my dream camera after about 3 weeks...

there is hope!!!!!

What is your dream camera?
A mostly old fashioned girl with romantic ideals and a family oriented lifestyle.
