The wedding was held on a cruise boat on Coeur d'Alene Lake which boarded at 6:30 PM on Saturday, so we all had plenty of time to prepare for the wedding. We went to a salon and hung out in our hotel before going to get dressed at the resort. Lots and lots of waiting.
01.
The morning started off with a trip to this school salon for nails, makeup, and hair for Kim, Mom, Michelle, and me. I didn't get the memo that we were supposed to wear red shirts.
02.
I make up for lack of red shirt with GNOME JAMMIES AND BALLET STYLE IMITATION CROCS. My hair took two hours so the stylist asked her friend to do my makeup while I was busy having my hair curled. Photo taken by my mom.
03.
I think the past seven and half years of growing my hair have been leading up to this hairdo. Photo taken by my mom.

Kimberly opted to have her hair straight for the wedding...low maintenance and all :) After we were all ready to go, Dad picked us up at 1:00 and took us all back to the hotel for lunch. Which was pitas.
06.
Here is Kim and Dad practicing their Father Daughter dance in the hotel while waiting for the pitas to arrive...SO SWEET.
07.
Kim testing out her tiara in her straight hair style...I have been busy trying to figure out which features of myself and my siblings came from which parent and I was having a hard time placing Kimberly's smile. It's just so BIG.
08.
Then I got this photo and I figured it out...Kim's teeth are just shorter than Dad's!
09.
After lunch, Kim went to play pool with Uncle Dow. Photo taken by my mom.

While I stayed in the hotel room and ironed Dad's shirt and James's pants. Photo taken by my dad.

After waiting around for a couple of hours, we finally took off to the resort so we could all get ready for the wedding. This is Kimberly's garter that Michelle made for her. The story of Kim and Caleb meeting is really funny. When Kim was in Kindergarten and Caleb was in fourth grade, they went to the same school together. They discovered this when looking through Kimberly's photo albums after they had been dating a couple of months two years ago. Kim asked Caleb is he remembered a girl with a ladybug backpack. His eyes got big and he said yes. Kim asked if he MADE FUN OF a girl with a ladybug backpack (she was teased for the backpack and it made her cry) and Caleb said, "Nooo, but my friends might have!" (LIES. It was him. Now his nickname for her is "Ladybug") :)
13.
Cousin Becky came with us to help get everything ready, she was a HUGE help in running stuff around and making sure Kim's dressed looked pretty while Michelle and I practiced bustling Kimberly. :) Photo taken by my mom.
14.
Kim's sweet tan line she got from a sunburn that she got at the family reunion last week...oops. Luckily her veil and hair covered it.
15.
Arsty shots of the bride time! Haha, she didn't wear the veil like this for the ceremony, she was just being silly.
16.
NOT MEANT TO BE A CLEAVAGE SHOT. The jewelry she is wearing is over one hundred years old and borrowed from Caleb's grandmother.
17.
Kim's eyes are huge.
18.
Over looking the lake she will soon be married on.

Becky said she felt like she was meeting a princess at Disneyland! :D

Kim and Mom. Do you see the resemblance? :)

Kim and both her parents. Gah, looking at these photos makes me sentimental!

Also, your dad's shirt rocks :-)
:-)
Or maybe you mean this shirt: http://blog.joehuffman.org/2006/01/15/Ce
I have pajama bottoms with flaming skulls and my wife has mooseses on hers. But right now I'm at work, so I'm not wearing them, though I suppose I could.
And gnomes > moose > flaming skulls. Sorry, man.
your sister made such a beautiful bride! in number 9 she looks so much like you.
Looking forward to the next set of photos. ^_^

I love the ladybug story! And the garter, how cute!
And as for the ladybug story, I thought that Caleb might be bad news since he made fun of a little girl when he was in 4th grade, but he turned out all right ;)
You inspire me to fill my journal with pictures. They are better than words sometimes. =)
And yes yes yes! Post photos! I love visuals to go with the words. And I know that when I post photos, it's a ton of fun to go back and read old entries because I get to see how everyone looked at the time :)
That surely is true. So don't stop now.
Thanks for sharing these photos. Very well done.
