Christmas 2007!

Photo taken by my dad.
I had an amazing Christmas. I got lots of awesome things and had so much fun with all of my family.

02.
The snow was sliding off the roof of the shed when we got to the farm on Christmas Eve. We dropped off the presents at Grandpa and Grandma's, then walked across the driveway to Uncle Doug and Aunt Julie's place for dinner. Aunt Julie made lasagna (one with meat and one without). For the first time they didn't ban the "kids" from the dining room (to promote mingling among the generations or something) so the "kids" commandeered the dining room and Grandma got stuck with us.

03.
Traditional "kids in front of the tree" picture at Grandpa and Grandma's. Photo taken by my dad. Left to right: James, Kim, me, Amy, Brad, and Lisa

04.
And another version of the same photo, this time showing Caleb. I chose one without him in it because he was teasing me all Christmas Eve FOR NO REASON. TAKE THAT CALEB, YOU WERE EXCLUDED FROM A PHOTO ON MY BLOG. Photo taken by my mom.

05.
And another way we turned the tables this year was to get the "adults" in front of the tree. Take that adults! How does it feel to have multiple cameras and flashes hitting you from different angles so you have no clue about which camera you should look at? Huh? HOW DOES IT FEEL??!!

06.
And my grandparents alone.

07.
After opening presents it was time for treats! Yum.

08.
And we did another thing we've never done before. We set up all the cameras (I have a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi and my dad and Amy have XTs) and I used my remote to take a photo of all of us. Most of us look so shocked here because I pointed the remote at ONE camera and ALL of them responded! It was so funny and lots of fun! :D

09.
A little more normal now.

10.
James was kind of mopey all day because he hates getting his picture taken, so Kim thought it was a good idea to surprise him and get photos, but Dad didn't follow the plan and wasn't sneaky, so James wasn't surprised and he tried to push us away :( Photo taken by my dad.

11.
Emo sisters. Kim made the jewelry we are wearing. Photo taken by my dad.

12.
'Sup another father daughter shot. After treats we went back home because Kim and Caleb had originally planned to go to Caleb's parents house for Christmas Day, but they went the Sunday before instead.

13.
We opened more presents back at home. I got these cute wintery gnomes from my mom! :D Photo taken by my dad.

14.
James got a sword from Kim and Caleb, though it was made with LOTS of help from other people. My dad wrote about it here. James wasn't mopey anymore that night.

15.
DMITRI ATTACK. Probably because I hadn't given him his presents yet. Photo taken by my dad.

16.
The next day, my Mom's sister and her family came over and we had lunch (Mom made chili for everyone) and we opened presents from that side of the family. Mom's other sister Sue made these Christmas aprons for us! Aunt Nancy didn't bring hers with her, so I photoshoped her in there from a picture that her husband took that morning. Photo taken by my dad (and Uncle Mike). Left to right: me, Kim, Aunt Nancy, my Mom.

17.
For a couple of hours after presents, a bunch of people played a board game while the rest of us chatted. Afterwards, James, my cousin Bryan, Caleb, and me played Rock Band. I LOVE MAPS!! :D Photo taken by my mom.

I got a lot of awesome stuff, notably a new webcam from my brother, lots of jewelry from my sister, and of course Photoshop CS3 from my parents. I hope everyone else had an awesome Christmas or whichever holiday! :D

I'm not sure why I would win the internet...I didn't do anything besides post a photo :p The people involved in making the sword should win the internet!!
