Every year my dad puts on the event Boomershoot for gun enthusiasts to shoot explosives at long range. When I tell people about it at college, most of them call me a hick.
I'm a total city boy, I was born and raised in a metropolitan area, and I've been dying to get to boomershoot for years. I just never seem to have the time :(
But my point remains, the love of explosions is universal! Not a hick thing at all.
