Idaho and Montana Trip

  • Jun. 14th, 2008 at 9:48 PM
Friday the 6th I left with my mom to join six other relatives on a journey through Northern Idaho and parts of Montana. We returned on Wednesday the 11th. I didn't take as many photos as I should have, and I don't feel like doing much narration for these photos.

I found a Brownie camera for $25 at a little shop in Wallace, Idaho.

Our last night at Lolo Hot Springs, my cousin and I were awoken by very strong wind and hail. We woke up the next morning to SNOW. ACK.

That night I found a Christmas gnome postcard at an antique shop.

That was sent in 1910. I got it for a dollar.

Ack! Idaho memories. I remember driving through Lolo as a kid and begging my parents to pull up stakes and move to Montana! Of course they never did. It is so pretty up in that area! Plus, my dad and uncle grew up close to Wallace. :)

How cool! Did you know that Wallace has a brothel museum now? It's pretty interesting ;)

Northern Idaho and NW Montana are beautiful places. I'm tempted to move over there, but foor now I'm happy to have them within just a few hours drive (or a couple hours flying when I finally get my license). I got to ride that Gondola a few months ago when there was still snow. The view was majestic or something like that. Words cannot reallly describe it.

There was snow at the top of the Gondola ride and it was snowing pretty heavily at the time of our visit. We did NOT stay for long, ha.

I know I've asked this before...

But what kind of camera do you have?

If memory serves, the answer is Rebel.
