A Celebration of Contemplation - First day of school

First day of school

Classes at the university started today, and it was my sister's first ever day of college! John took these photos for us because the family's tradition dictates we must always take photos on the first day of school:

This is the first time since I was in third grade that I've gone to the same school with one of my siblings.

I got too lazy to edit the sun glare out of this one, but my sister got a lunch bag from Mom for her birthday and I'm getting mine for my birthday...I just stole mine out of her room for the photo ;D I'm a million miles shorter than Kim in this photo because I was on the hill and bending my knees a lot. I POP MY HIP OUT A LOT, I CAN'T HELP IT.

And my head is still going: "What? Where'd the summer go? We didn't get time to relax ever :("

And I still don't know what I should be for Halloween :O

John's only "problem" with these photos were the framing, all of these had to be cropped, but I was very proud of how well he did :) John doesn't usually put that much effort in taking photos, though he tries when I ask him to :D

And the lunch bags came from the hospital's gift shop!

They look good! :] Anyway, one of the biggest problems for non-photographers is the framing, and I think he did very well considering.

Funny you speak of Halloween.. I ordered some things online today for it! :D I only decided about a month ago what I was going to be this year.. I'm going all out. Crazy contacts (becauuse I found some hardcore medicated ones and I wont be blind! YAY!) Latex prosthetics.. pantgrowlchoke.. ahh I seriously get so flustered talking about it. haha

I'm taking Geology 101 (plus a lab), Beginning Ballet, Art: Design Processes, Understanding Photography (which includes a lab), and Sculpture :)
